I've written in journals since I was six, when my mother introduced me to the pasttime by handing down her own personal diary. Now that we're in a fast-paced, computer-driven era, I tend to neglect paper diaries and opt for the easier (and somewhat safer) online version. Though I was once a strong disbeliever in the Internet, I have gained a lot through its existence, and believe it's an efficient way to bring the world closer together. Thus, I write openly and hope to reach others who are like-minded, or are very unlike-minded but unafraid of the differences we bear.
